How to Save a File to Your Desktop

Solution

Click on the download link - The file window will load.
Click on 'Save' and the 'Save As' window will load. To specify where the file should be saved, in Windows XP, click on the drop down box at the top of the window and then on 'Desktop' and then on 'Save.'

In Windows Vista and Windows 7, click on 'Desktop' within the left window panel and then on 'Save.'
